21 DAY CORPORATE FAST
(Tuesday, January 2, 2024 – Sunday, January 22, 2024)

Rhema Word Church strongly encourages individuals with health concerns to consult their physician prior to beginning a fast. This is especially important if you take prescription medications or have a chronic condition. Some people should never fast without professional supervision.
What is Fasting?
In the Bible the word for Fast (in both the Old & New Testament) means to either cover the mouth or abstain from food so, when many people hear about Fasting, they immediately think of what has to be given up. But fasting is more about gaining than giving up. Fasting is about gaining more of God and growing closer to Him. Fasting allows us to remove some of the things that we spend most of our time and energy on and gives us room to focus on God. Fasting humbles our flesh, causing it to decrease and allows our spirit man to increase. Fasting isn’t something that we do to try to manipulate God, but it is a spiritual discipline that can help us to align our lives with Heaven and develop a deeper intimacy with God. So, as we embark upon these 21 days of Fasting and Prayer, we stand in agreement with you that these will be some of the most powerful days of your life and that you will make Fasting a perpetual part of your spiritual walk!

Food Guidelines
HERE IS A LIST OF FOOD ITEMS THAT CAN BE INCLUDED IN THIS FAST. (This list is just to give an idea of items you can consume, but are not the only items:
- All Fruits. These can be fresh, frozen, dried, juiced or canned. Fruits include but are not limited to apples, apricots, bananas, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, cantaloupe, cherries, cranberries, figs, grapefruit, grapes, guava, honeydew melon, kiwi, lemons, limes, mangoes, nectarines, oranges, papayas, peaches, pears, pineapples, plums, prunes, raisins, raspberries, strawberries, tangelos, tangerines, watermelon
- All Vegetables. These can be fresh, frozen, dried, juiced or canned. Vegetables include but are not limited to artichokes, asparagus, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chili peppers, collard greens, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, ginger root, kale, leeks, lettuce, mushrooms, mustard greens, okra, onions, parsley, potatoes, radishes, rutabagas, scallions, spinach, sprouts, squashes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, watercress, yams, zucchini, veggie burgers are an option if you are not allergic to soy
- All whole grains. including but not limited to whole wheat, brown rice, millet, quinoa, oats, barley, grits, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat tortillas, rice cakes and all natural (no butter) popcorn. All nuts and seeds, including but not limited to sunflower seeds, cashews, peanuts, sesame. Also nut butters including peanut butter.
- All Legumes. These can be canned or dried. Legumes include but are not limited to dried beans, pinto beans, split peas, lentils, black eyed peas, kidney beans, black beans, cannellini beans, white beans.
- All Quality Oils & Beverages. including but not limited to olive, canola, grape seed, peanut, and sesame. Spring water, distilled water or other pure waters. Soy milk, almond milk. Drink plenty of water and 100% juice.
- Fish and Seafood are allowed to be consumed.
Prayer to Begin our Fast
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you that you are the Author and Finisher of our Faith. We thank you that you created all things and that there is nothing created that was not created by you. As we begin this time of Fasting and Prayer, we humble ourselves before you and submit to your will for our lives. Father, we ask that you give us the daily grace, strength, and focus that we need to turn our hearts towards you and that we not be distracted by the cares of this world. Father, we Pray that you will position us to hear your voice, increase our hunger for you and ignite a fire that never goes out. In the Name of Jesus, we Pray. Amen!
Tuesday, January 2nd

Prayer
Lord, we thank you for all that you have ordained for Rhema Word Church and we declare that not one prophetic or written word will fall to the ground or return void. Thank you that this will be the year of constant, daily manifestations of your Word. Amen!
Wednesday, January 3rd

Heavenly Father, we thank you for Bishop & Lady Brackett. We thank you for giving them laser vision, insight, strategy and focus for Rhema Word Church. Lord, we Pray that you give them firm foundations on which to build and open wombs to birth into the earth that which you have ordained. In Jesus Name. Amen

Prayer
Heavenly Father, we Pray for individual as well as corporate successes. We thank you for the increase in business, creative ideas, and witty inventions. Father, thank you for the tremendous success of this season. Thank you that all grace, favor and earthly blessing abound toward us, so that we always, in all circumstances, whatever the need, are self-sufficient, requiring no aid or support. We are always furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.
Saturday, January 6th

Lord, we pray for an increased hunger and desire for your Word that we may study to show ourselves approved unto and that we will have the firm foundation of your Word on which to stand.
Sunday, January 7th

Rhema becomes established as a house of healing, deliverance & prophecy.

Prayer
Father, we bless and honor you, thank you for your heart and mind towards Rhema. We thank you that Rhema is a house of healing, deliverance & prophecy. We decree that we operate as a five-fold ministry. Gifts and callings are being revealed in this hour. We thank you that we have all power over the power of the enemy, we operate by your spirit, and we are able to heal all kinds of sickness and disease. We walk in authority and flow in the gifts of the spirit. Miracles, signs and wonders are the norm for Rhema. Prophetic utterances go forth in every service, lives are transformed, and captives are set free. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
